Two ways to have it done
Almost everything on this page can be done either way. The van carries the same tyres, the same fitting machine and the same balancer as the workshop, so a mobile job is not a lesser version of the same work — it is the same work, somewhere more convenient.
Mobile makes sense when the vehicle cannot or should not move: a flat on the driveway, a car sat in a work car park all day, a van that has to be loaded and gone first thing. It also makes sense when you simply have not got half a day to give up. Free call-out across WF6, chargeable beyond it, agreed with you before we travel.
The workshop makes sense when the job might turn into something else. A wheel corroded onto the hub, a rim that has taken a knock, a set of four with a balance problem that wants chasing properly — those are all easier on the ramps with everything to hand. Servicing work is a workshop job too. We are on Albert Street, just off Benson Lane.
